Districts and coverage

How districts reveal local demand, local capacity, and routes that cross the wrong area.

What districts are

A district is a smaller area inside a unit. It helps Caire understand whether clients and employees belong to the same local operating context.

Unit overview with employees, clients, districts and visit hours
The overview summarises the unit's employees, clients, districts, shift templates and visit hours per day.The unit's standing data is summarised before the planner moves on to the schedule.
Table of demand, current and proposed staffing per district
The table compares recommended staffing with current and proposed employees and shows the remaining gap per district. The proposal is a preview: the planner sees whether the gap closes before anything is saved.

How it affects the schedule

When both clients and employees have districts, Caire can show whether a solution uses local capacity or whether routes cross area boundaries because of a shortage.
