The scorecard and optimisation grade

The scorecard shows a unit, a schedule or a solution in eight fixed categories. The optimisation grade compares care-time share with Caire's best verified proposal.

Eight fixed categories

The scorecard (Mätkort) measures a unit, a schedule or a solution the same way, with the same icons and colours everywhere. The colour shows what kind of measure it is, never whether it is good or bad. The categories are:

  • Brukartid (Care time): care-time share of paid time.
  • Restid (Travel): travel, waiting and idle time as shares of paid time.
  • Täckning (Coverage): the share of visits that got a caregiver, and unassigned visits.
  • Kontinuitet (Continuity): how many different caregivers each client gets, and the share of visits with the client's designated caregiver.
  • Bemanning (Staffing): fixed shifts against hourly shifts, and the number of shifts.
  • Utförande (Delivery): planned against performed start time and length.
  • Marginal (Margin): revenue, cost and margin. Shown only to people with access to financials.
  • Ändrade besök (Changed visits): what changed against the published plan, and whether the key metrics held.

A dash is never zero

Every value comes from the same calculations as the rest of Caire; the scorecard computes nothing of its own. When a measure lacks evidence, the card shows why, for example no published plan or no performed times. Such a measure is never shown as zero and never estimated.

Optimisation grade

The optimisation grade (Optimeringsgrad) is the plan's care-time share divided by the care-time share of the reference. The reference is Caire's best finished proposal for the same unit and period that has passed verification. Without such a reference no grade is shown.

By default there are three bands: Optimerad (Optimised) from 95 %, Nära (Close) from 85 % and Förbättringspotential (Room to improve) below 85 %. A band describes the plan, never a person.

The unit's trend and next step

The unit's scorecard shows the optimisation grade week by week, eight weeks back, and how many weeks in a row the unit has held its level. Only published weekly plans count, never drafts. Under Rapporter (Reports) the Enheter (Units) card shows the grade, trend and next step for every unit you may see.

The next step points to the largest gap to the reference and the action that belongs to it: unassigned visits lead to Bemanning (Staffing), travel to Caire rutt, waiting to Insatsflex and paid idle time to Skiftflex. When the unit is level with the reference, the card says so.

No ranking of caregivers

No caregiver is compared or ranked against another. A caregiver sees only their own scorecard. Managers see aggregate figures for groups of at least five caregivers. Planners see their own units, administrators all of them.
