A suggestion before you agree with the client
When you add a visit to a client's care plan, you want to know when it fits. Under suggested visit times, Caire tries the visit in the unit's planned weeks and proposes times. The suggestions take account of staff, the other visits and the travel in the weeks already planned.
A suggestion only fills in the form. The municipal decision does not change, and you save the template as usual.
How to get suggestions
The flex in a suggestion is the unit's visit flex: care flex for a care service and service flex for other services. It is the same flex used when the weeks are planned. If you change something in the form, ask again.
- 1. Open the client and add a visit.
- 2. Enter the duration and frequency. Enter the earliest start and latest end, and the allowed weekdays if needed. Allowed weekdays are used when the visit has no fixed weekday.
- 3. Caire fetches suggestions automatically. You get up to three, for example Tuesday 14:00 ±60 min.
- 4. Choose Use on the suggestion you agree on. The form gets the preferred time and weekday.
- 5. Save the template.
When there is no suggestion
- Suggestions become available after the nightly automatic planning: the unit has no planned week to try against yet. Save the template and open it again tomorrow.
- No time fits within the range: widen the range or save the time you have agreed.
- Suggestions are not yet available for double-staffed visits or visits with dependencies. Save the time you have agreed.
What changes
Only the visit template changes, and only when you save. Saved changes apply to future unpublished drafts. Published visits do not change. The automatic planning never moves a visit to another weekday.
Ask CAIRE can give the same suggestions when you ask for a time for a new visit. It changes nothing.
