Connect an AI assistant to Caire with MCP.
MCP connects compatible AI tools to the planning data a member can already see in Caire. The assistant can summarize evidence and prepare proposals; a planner always reviews before anything changes.
Availability
Available when Caire has enabled MCP, the organisation has the required product and Ask Caire is enabled, and the organisation administrator has granted the member access.
What the assistant can help with
- It reads your planning per unit and week: visits, unassigned visits, client-time share, travel, waiting, capacity by hour and continuity.
- It reads the summary of one completed import: period, number of clients, employees and services.
- It prepares a proposal for a new visit duration, which you see and approve in CAIRE.
- Compare available solutions and summarize metric differences when the corresponding tools exist in the connected server version.
Permissions and compatible tools
You only see what you are already allowed to see in CAIRE, because the tool works with your own sign-in.
- The existing help guide describes Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor. Support and settings depend on the client.
- The MCP connection and any skills add no permissions. A skill is optional text instruction and does not activate the connection.
Proposals are reviewed in Caire
MCP can also prepare a change proposal for review in Caire. After confirmed proposal creation, the assistant may say “A proposal has been created for review. The schedule has not changed.” It may also describe an already recorded change, but must not claim to have performed it. A proposal is not an approval or publication.
- It never changes a schedule itself, publishes nothing, and approves nothing on your behalf.
