Onboarding packages for new employees

Gather the pages a new employee should read in a package for their role, and follow how far each employee has come.

One package per role

Settings has Onboarding packages, for creating role-specific packages for new employees. Each package targets one role, and your organisation has one package per role.

Choose New package and fill in:

  • Name, for example Onboarding for caregivers.
  • Description of what the package contains.
  • Target role, the role the package is for.
  • Pages: choose Add page for each page and change the order so the steps come in the right sequence.

How onboarding works

An employee with the package's role sees the onboarding in the app, both as a card on the home screen and under More › Onboarding, and under Onboarding in the handbook on the web.

Each page is a step. A step is done when the employee has confirmed reading the page. The onboarding can only be completed once every page in the package is confirmed.

  • Add only published pages that the new employee should read.
  • A package without pages cannot be completed. The employee is then asked to contact their administrator.

Follow up the onboarding

Onboarding status under Members shows, for each employee, which package they have, how many steps are done and the status: not started, in progress or completed. When there is no package for the employee's role, it says no package.

Change or delete a package

Open the package to change its name, description, role or pages, and choose Save changes. You delete a package after a confirmation.
