PDF export of a handbook page

The export creates a PDF of one handbook page in a selected language. It includes the page title, content and category, along with the organisation's branding details. It does not export the entire handbook.

Images that cannot be included may be omitted. Check the text and images in the finished file before using it.

Export requires sign-in, a selected organisation, access to the employee handbook product and permission to read the handbook. The page must belong to the organisation or be a shared Caire template.

The selected language must exist on the page. Export does not automatically choose another language if the translation is missing.

There is not yet a PDF button in the handbook administration or reader app. The export service is a protected technical service, rather than an in-app self-service flow. Ask your organisation's technical administrator for help if you need to use the service.

To read the current content, use the handbook on the web or in the app. A saved PDF does not update when the handbook page changes and does not replace an in-app reading acknowledgement.

Check that the correct organisation is selected, that the account has handbook access and that the page is translated into the selected language. Ask the handbook administrator to check the page and language before retrying.
